MORGAN HILL – Crews on Friday night battled a vehicle and structure fire in Morgan Hill, authorities said.
The fire was reported just before 7:30 p.m. near Garden Way and Wright Avenue, according to the California Department of Forestry Santa Clara Unit.
In a social media post, Cal Fire said the fire involved multiple vehicles and extended to an apartment building.
Crews ultimately contained the fire and saved the structure.
“There is only minor fire and smoke damage to the complex,” Cal Fire said in a follow-up post.
Crews were expected to remain at the scene for another three hours to ensure the fire was completely out.
